Rishi Sunak, whose resignation as the Chancellor of the exchequer triggered a series of resignations against Boris Johnson, is believed to be the contender for next UK Prime Minister.
If it happens, he will be first Indian origin man to be the Prime Minister of UK.

First elected to parliament in 2015, Sunak previously served as Chief Secretary to the Treasury, the second in command to the finance minister, overseeing public spending.
Rishi Sunak, 42, was picked by Boris Johnson and appointed Chancellor of the Exchequer – his first full cabinet position – in February 2020.
His wife, Akshata Murty, is the daughter of Indian billionaire and co-founder of IT services company Infosys, Narayana Murthy. While studying for an MBA at Stanford University, Sunak met his future wife. Murthy and Sunak were married at a two-day traditional wedding ceremony in 2009, in Bangalore. The couple have two daughters.
Rishi Sunak’s grandparents was from Punjab & had migrated to East Africa. His parents Yashvir and Usha Sunak, both Punjabis were born in colonial Kenya and Tanzania respectively. After India’s independence, both families left East Africa for Southampton in the mid-to-late 1960s. Yashvir and Usha met in Britain and married. Rishi Sunak’s father Yashwir was a doctor and his mother Usha ran a chemist shop. Rishi, the eldest of their three children, was schooled at the ancient and distinguished Winchester College. He grew up in Southampton and is a fan of Southampton Football Club. Before entering politics Rishi had worked for investment bank Goldman Sachs and a hedge fund, then co-founded an investment firm.
