The 67th National Film awards were handed out to awardees presented by Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu. Rajinikanth was conferred with 51st Dadasaheb Phalke Award,
Kangana Ranaut was adjudged the ‘Best Actress’ for her performances in Panga and Manikarnika.
Dhanush received the Best Actor Award for his role in Asuran.
Manoj Bajpayee also won the award for his impeccable performance in Bhonsle in the ‘Best Actor’ category.
















Vijaya Sethupathi took home the Best Supporting Actor prize for Super Deluxe.








Priyadarshan’s Malayalam period epic Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea won the Best Feature Film and it also bagged the awards for the best special effects and best costume designing. Siddharth Priyadarshan has won the best special effects award and Sujith Sudhakaran and V Sasi won the best costume designer award.
Girish Gangadharan was bestowed with the best cinematography award for his work in ‘Jallikattu’.
Chhichhore, starring the late Sushant Singh Rajput, was presented the Best Hindi Film award.
Child actor Naga Vishal has bagged the National Award for the Best Child Artist
‘Kalla Nottam (The False eye)’ has won the 67th National Film Awards for Best Feature Film in the Malayalam language category. Directed by Rahul Riji Nair.The award for best makeup was Ranjith for his work in ‘Helen’. Mathukutty Xavier who delivered ‘Helen’ is the best debut director. Prabha Varma’s ‘Aarodum Parayuka Vaiyya’ from ‘Kolambi’ won the best lyrics award. ‘Oru Pathira Swapnam Pole’ by Sharan Venugopal is the best film in the non-feature category.
