കേരളത്തിന്റെ കാരവൻ ടൂറിസം പദ്ധതിക്ക് വേണ്ടി അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര നിലവാരത്തിലുള്ള കിടലന്‍ കാരവൻ റെഡി
സിനിമാതാരങ്ങള്‍ക്കൊപ്പം ആഡംബരത്തിന്റെ പ്രതീകമായി കണ്ടിരുന്ന കാരവന്‍ വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ ഇനി കേരള ടൂറിസത്തിന്റെ പ്രതീകമായി മാറുകയാണ്. കേരളം നടപ്പാക്കുന്ന പങ്കാളിത്ത സൗഹൃദ കാരവൻ ടൂറിസം പദ്ധതിയായ ‘കാരവൻ കേരള’യുമായി കൈകോർത്ത് വാഹന നിർമ്മാതാക്കളായ ഭാരത്‌ ബെൻസ് അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര നിലവാരത്തിലുള്ള ടൂറിസ്റ്റ് കാരവൻ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് പുറത്തിറക്കി.
ആധുനിക സൗകര്യങ്ങളോടെയുള്ള കാരവൻ ടൂറിസം മന്ത്രി പി.എ. മുഹമ്മദ് റിയാസും ഗതാഗത മന്ത്രി ആന്റണി രാജുവും ചേർന്നാണ് പുറത്തിറക്കിയത്
എ.സി. ലോഞ്ച്, അടുക്കള തുടങ്ങി ഷവര്‍ സൗകര്യമുള്ള കുളിമുറി, കിടപ്പുമുറി എന്നീ സൗകര്യങ്ങളാണ് കാരവനിലുള്ളത്. വിനോദ സഞ്ചാരികള്‍ക്ക് ഒരു ടൂറിസം കേന്ദ്രത്തില്‍ ലഭിക്കുന്ന സൗകര്യങ്ങള്‍ വാഹനത്തില്‍ ഒരുക്കും. പകല്‍ യാത്രയും രാത്രി വണ്ടിയില്‍ തന്നെ വിശ്രമവും എന്ന രീതിയിലാണ് പദ്ധതി.

BharatBenz has unveiled its luxurious ready-for-road caravan to support the Kerala Tourism Department’s latest initiative- ‘Keravan Kerala’. The inauguration was presided by Mr. P. A. Mohammed Riyas, Tourism Minister, Govt of Kerala and Mr. Antony Raju, Transport Minister, and other senior dignitaries from the state government.
Built on BharatBenz 1017 chassis, the caravan will be available in two configurations, customised to accommodate 2 – 4 travellers . It comes equipped with a spacious lounge area and modern amenities. The kitchen area is furnished with all the necessary appliances like a refrigerator and microwave .The fully air-conditioned caravan has tastefully designed and comfortable double bunk beds in the bedroom and a restroom with a shower.
