തിരുവനന്തപുരംകാർക്ക് ഇന്ന് ഉറക്കമില്ലാതെ ഷോപ്പിംഗ് ചെയ്യാം… ലുലു മാൾ ഇന്ന് 24 മണിക്കൂർ പ്രവർത്തിക്കും | Lulu Mall open 24 hours – ‘Midnight Shopping’ in Thiruvananthapuram

തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെ ആദ്യ മിഡ്നൈറ്റ് സേലുമായി തിരുവനന്തപുരം ലുലു മാൾ. ഇന്ന് ജൂലൈ 6 രാത്രി 11.59 തുടങ്ങുന്ന സേലിൽ 500 ഓളം ബ്രാന്റുകൾ 50% വരെ വിലക്കുറവിൽ വാങ്ങാം. ജൂലൈ 8 വരെ 24 മണിക്കൂറും മാൾ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതാണ്. KSRTC ഉൾപ്പടെ ലുലു മാളിലേക്ക് രാത്രികാലങ്ങളിലും സർവീസ് നടത്തുന്നതാണ്.

Thiruvananthapuram, is looking to gradually transform to attain the tag of a ‘city that never sleeps. As part of this initiative, Lulu mall, Thiruvananthapuram is set to introduce ‘Midnight shopping’ on a trial basis.

Lulu International Shopping Mall is all set to introduce the state capital’s first night-shopping model for one day from July 6th on a trial basis – the first step towards this transformation where people can experience shopping through the late hours as usually witnessed in mega cities like Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore.

“Our main intention is to encourage midnight shopping so as to ensure that the public and experience nightlife with less traffic where they can purchase their daily needs in a more peaceful atmosphere. On a trial basis we will introduce it for one day and going forward we are planning to try this for more days. We are aware that there could be a lot of hindrances and drawbacks initially. However, we will study all those aspects and see how we can introduce this in a full phased manner in the future”, said Joy Shadanandan, regional director, LuLu group.

“The security apparatus has also been arranged where more officials in mufti will be made available so as to ensure women safety during the night. KSRTC will provide special service along with an open double-decker bus at midnight shopping time. Also, online taxi services will also be available for customers. Today, the capital will witness the biggest shopping festival that Kerala has seen in recent times”, he added

Midnight shopping is in support of the state government’s plan to promote the same in other parts of the state. Lulu Mall will be open for customers for 24 hours of continuous shopping from 11.59 from midnight of July 6th till the dawn of July 7th.

There will also be a 50 percent discount for more than 500 brands at LuLu Shops and other retail shops in the mall during the midnight shopping time slot.

LuLu Mall Trivandrum organized a bike rally as part of its midnight shopping that will happen today. Actress Sona Nair and TVM Chamber of Commerce President S.N. Raghuchandran Nair flagged off the bike rally that started from Kowdiar Junction and ended in front of LuLu Mall.
